This past Saturday I was lucky enough to have the chance to see one of my favorite artists, Andrew Jones, at the opening of his exhibit. I've seen a lot of his work online but it was definitely great getting to see his art up close. He also closed the event with a Phadroid performance like the one here. Here are some pictures I took of the event.
Me with Andrew Jones!

For anyone interested, a lot of his work can be seen here and a video of how he works here.

New Stuff
It's been a while since I've updated but here's most of the work I've done in the past few weeks. The first two are gargoyles for a photoshop painting I'll be working on.
Practice with multi-poses.
Drapery study.
Some figure drawings. The drawings after the first one are just blocked in shadow shapes.
A funky costumed figure drawing (she had a chainsaw!!!!)
Quick gesture poses.
Some photoshop composites I worked on for my photoshop class. Below the images I put the original photos I used (yes, that's me in the ninja outfit).
Portrait for figure modeling. It turns out sculpting the face is a lot harder for me than the entire figure.
