Big Update!

A pretty big update today. I did the first illustration during the little free time I've had. The rest is work from classes.

The first figure drawing was 10 minutes while the second two are 20.

Monsters!!!

I forgot to put these two pen sketches in my last update. The bottom drawing is a more recent one with pencil.

Beginning of Art College.

I've finally started my classes at the AAU and so far everything is going well. These first two images are animal sketches from the zoo.


The image below is a drawing of samurai armor displayed at the Asian Art Museum.

Below are drawings from my analysis of form and figure drawing classes. I'm glad to be taking this class since I feel like I skipped a lot of the basics of form and value. The figure drawings are linework only.

Contest Entry and Poses

I thought I'd participate in the Bayonetta art contest just for kicks. I thought it'd be good practice and it was. The idea behind this contest is to create an original look for the main character of the game, Bayonetta. Basically, she's a witch who fights angels and since her hair is the source of her abilities, I wanted to focus on that for my image.
