First Art Dump

So I'll start this off with some recent work of mine...female, drapery, and color studies as well as some characters and WIPs. Hope this is a good post to kick things off.

My First Blog

What better time to start an art blog than now? To start things off I'll just properly introduce myself. My name's André and I've been living in New York City up till now. I just graduated from high school in May and I'm excited to say that soon I'll be headed to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco which is the reason I'm making this blog. This will be the page where I track my progress through college and hopefully connect to artists that will inspire me and help me to grow as an artist as well. My current goal is to become a concept artist in the entertainment industry (mainly for video games and movies). I know I have a long way to go but I'm confident that I'll get there if I push myself hard enough...so here it goes :)
